XBM Acquires Apex Workflows
XBM Limited Acquires Managed Print & Document Workflow Business, Apex Workflows Limited
Yorkshire based XBM Limited, one of the UK’s fastest growing managed print and sustainable office technology suppliers, announced today that it has acquired East Midlands based Apex Workflows Limited, a managed print business representing partners including Epson, HP, Ricoh, and “beyond the box” products from PaperCut and DocuWare.
Apex Workflows outgoing Managing Director, Frazer Seel, said that, “We are happy to have agreed the sale of the business XBM, who we know have existing relationships with our key partners, Epson and Ricoh, and the national infrastructure to continue to provide excellent support to our existing customers.”
As previously reported, XBM rebranded in 2021 and announced plans to expand rapidly through acquisitions and new business at their Q3 Launch in July 2022, and this is the second take over in just 4 months, moving them further towards their goal of becoming the UK’s largest managed print provider.
Following the successful completion of the acquisition of Epson and HP reseller iDoc Services Limited in August this year, the addition of Apex Workflows to the XBM family of managed print and technology businesses will also be an excellent fit. XBM is Epson’s second largest reseller in the UK by volume and one of only three Platinum Partners, a status that Epson awarded based on sales expertise and the excellent level of service XBM provides for customers.
EcoVadis Awards INNIO Group platinum medal status in response to solid progress and execution of ESG strategy] Richard Taylor, XBM’s Managing Director stated, “With Epson’s third Platinum EcoVadis award in a row ranking their sustainability in the top 1% of companies internationally, they are an important partner for XBM, providing innovative technology that improves the sustainability of office printing for businesses and organisations large and small, and a key partner in our growth strategy.
“Our purchase of Apex Workflows from Frazer further cements that relationship and is one more step on our journey towards being the UK’s largest managed print supplier. I’d like to thank Frazer for the excellent work he has done building Apex and making the transition so seamless for his customers, whom we welcome into the XBM family and promise to continue to provide with excellent products and services.”
Apex Workflow customers will now have access to XBM’s sales, admin, and service teams spread across the country, working from offices in Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, and London, and their nationwide team of field based engineers.
Focusing on sustainable solutions, XBM Limited provides print hardware and managed print solutions, interactive smart displays for business and education, and enterprise content management solutions.
